■EVAN Garnett was on target late in each half as Long Eaton survived first-half scares to overcome Coleshill .
United started well but were indebted to keeper Lewis King for thwarting Ben Usher-Shipway one-on-one midway through the first half and repelling Alex McSkeane’s header eight minutes before the break.
Visiting stopper Cameron Belford also produced saves but could not keep out Garnett’s glancing header from an Owen Betts cross.
