■ SUTTON earned a much-needed victory over Wellingborough to stay above the drop zone on the same day they appointed a new manager in Jemiah Richards after Cameron Stuart’s shock resignation over a week ago.
The opening exchang-es were shared evenly, although Wellingborough had the ball in the net when a long throw in was poked home but it was ruled out for offside.
