■ BRIDLINGTON picked up maximum points in the North East for the second time in four days, beating a disappointing Consett side.
They took the lead after 15 minutes with the first shot of the game, as Ben Farrar’s effort somehow crept past home keeper Harry Moss.
It was 1-0 at the break, but Bridlington almost doubled their lead in the 51st minute when Charlie Dunkerley’s shot cannoned off the bar.
