STRUGGLING REDS ADD TO STEELS’ WEEK OF MISERY

STOCKSBRIDGE Park Steels were reeling following the shock departure of Ian Richards to Guiseley during the week – and things got worse as they lost to basement side Workington.
While Jordan Lemon was put in interim charge, Stocksbridge did struggle to get going.
Neither team looked particularly up for it as both sides showed the effect of having no manager.
Chances were thin on the ground and it wasn’t one to be enjoyed by the neutrals.
In the second half, the goal shortly before the hour probably fitted the game.
