■ RUNCORN LINNETS brushed aside Darlaston to record a third win from their past four games, returning to the top-half of the table as well.
The visitors were playing catchup from the moment Lewis Crane directed Matty Rain’s cross past goalkeeper Stan Amos inside the first five minutes. Joe Ferguson’s dinked finish then doubled the hosts’ lead before Amos fumbled Eden Gumbs’ shot for the third.
