■ BURY extended their impressive home form with a well-earned win over Kidsgrove Athletic.
After a sluggish first-half, the Shakers came alive, with DJ Pedro forcing a save from Ryan Brown and Kai Evans firing over the bar in the second period’s early stages.
The breakthrough arrived just before the hour when Pedro’s played in Tyler James, who coolly slotted home to give Bury the lead.
Just minutes later, Evans curled a precise effort from the edge of the box into the bottom corner to double his side’s advantage.
