SUPER ROSE BLOOMS TO SET PITMEN ON THEIR WAY

A COUPLE of second half goals proved enough as high-flying Hednesford Town got the better of Stocksbridge Park Steels.
The first half was a scrappy affair with little in the way of clearcut chances for either side.
Stocksbridge began the stronger of the two, with a couple of corners in the opening minutes.
For the Pitmen, Montel Gibson broke through the Stocksbridge midfield and set up Dom McHale who shot over the bar.
Chris Hussey went close with a free-kick for the Pitmen with an effort from 25 yards going narrowly past the post...
