SUB HASWELL HITS STUNNER TO THWART GAFFER IAN

IAN Richards was denied a first victory as Guiseley manager after Whitby sub Aaron Haswell grabbed an injury-time leveller with a spectacular free-kick.
Jordan Thewlis’ penalty 13 minutes into the second half looked to have proved enough for the West Yorkshire side to claim victory, after a poor challenge in the box from home player-boss Gary Liddle.
Thewlis chipped comfortably into Shane Bland’s hands early on. At the other end, ex-Scarborough keeper Joe Cracknell claimed from Layton Watts’ speculative shot.
