A DRAMATIC second half saw Ashton United twice come from behind to take all three points after Morpeth had led for much of the encounter – and then missed a late penalty.
The scoring started in the 22nd minute as Jordan Eastham was unable to prevent a corner which saw Jeff Henderson’s delivery go straight into the Ashton net to put Morpeth in front.
The action started to pick up ten minutes after the break as Luca Navarro won a penalty for a push by William Dowling with Sean Newton converting confidently.
