WARRINGTON Town were ruthless in capitalising on mistakes from their hosts to move towards the play-off places.
Paul Carden’s Wire got off to the perfect start, opening the scoring in the second minute. Regular Hyde stopper Yusuf Mersin was missing through suspension so in came Blackburn loanee Blake Wolsoncroft. He misjudged a cross into the box which he failed to claim and allowed Max Thompson to head past him.
