■ GRIMSBY bounced back from a midweek mauling at Heaton Stannington with a gritty victory in West Yorkshire.
Dayle Southwell headed the visitors ahead after three minutes and Josh Venney came close but fired wide from Cal Lovett’s flick-on.
Luis Adlard was the Grimsby saviour when he hooked off the line and that proved crucial because soon after Alfie Taylor rolled home a penalty to make it 2-0.
Romario Dunne pulled one back four minutes after the break but the two-goal advantage was restored when Jack Richardson stabbed in from close range.
