■ GAVIN Massey’s late goal from close range earned victory for Bury.
The home side made an excellent start and took the lead inside the first ten minutes when DJ Pedro’s effort was turned home by Mossley captain Mark Lees.
It was nearly two inside 20 minutes as Owen Robinson saw his effort blocked at close range. Four minutes later, Mossley drew level, Connor Hughes turned and found Callum Stringer, who slotted into the top corner.
Obua Mugalula nearly gave Mossley the lead but Mitch Allen pulled off an outstanding save.
