BAMBER Bridge delivered an early Christmas present as they belied their mid-table status to enter the holiday period on the back of a win over high-flying Warrington Rylands.
A well-organised outfit they worked hard on a heavy Irongate pitch to frustrate their visitors.
Bamber Bridge started the better and after a couple of near misses opened the scoring on 13 minutes when Ewan Bange took advantage of some slack defending to tap home from close range.
