A BOXING Day derby that lacked quality ended in a stalemate between Mossley and east Manchester neighbours Stalybridge Celtic – but it wasn’t for a want of trying.
The visitors came into the game in red hot form while the Lilywhites came in off the back of two defeats.
But it was the home side who had the better of the opening exchanges, though Celtic keeper Charlie Monks was equal to the couple of efforts of target registered.
