■ GRIMSBY Borough survived Josh Venney’s late red card to beat struggling Lincoln United. It had seemed quite serene for Borough in the first half when Callum Lovett broke the deadlock. Twelve minutes before half-time, the lead was doubled with a goal from Dayle Southward.
The second half was a different story as Lincoln, who had put Borough under plenty of pressure, were awarded a penalty for a push after 66 minutes. Elliot Dye sent Seb Auton the wrong way.
