STEELMEN DONE BY NKETIA’S DOUBLE

JOEL Nketia scored twice as AFC Rushden & Diamonds won the local derby.
Kick-off was delayed to get the nearly 900 through the turnstiles, but, the home crowd were silenced after five minutes when Nketia headed home for Diamonds.
Corby saw several good attempts on goal in the first half, but couldn’t score the leveller.
Four minutes after the break, Nketia scored again, Corby allowing the Rushden striker too much space, with the ball stuck through the legs of the keeper.
