EMLEY kept up the pressure on leaders Redcar after Bailey Thompson struck a hat-trick in the defeat of Ossett United.
Pewits’ hero Thompson grabbed his first in the third minute when he was on hand to thump home Joe Stacey’s cross.
United struggled to make a mark, but their defence escaped on a number of occasions before the break.
Ten minutes after the resumption, good approach play ended with the ball at Thompson’s feet, and he slipped the ball past Aleksandar Petrovic.
