CONGLETON Town manager Richard Duffy was left scratching his head as to how his side didn’t win this derby as they were held to a draw with Kidsgrove Athletic.
The hosts were rewarded for a strong start to the game when Ebou Badjie gave them the lead after 40 minutes. His delightful strike beat Ryan Brown.
It took Kidsgrove less than a minute after the break to pull level when Natty Stewart bundled the ball towards the goal. The assistant referee deemed that the ball had crossed the line and awarded the goal.
