■ FALMOUTH Town emerged victorious in front of a healthy home crowd at Bickland Park against Willand Rovers in an important game which helped to shape the lower reaches of the table, going into the new year.
The first half ended 0-0 with half-chances being created, but not taken by both sides.
The second half was different with Falmouth taking the lead after 52 minutes with a through ball from Rubin Wilson finding Ollie Walker, who squared for Luke Barner to convert.
