■ SECOND-HALF goals from Reece Somers and Aaron Wellington gave Brixham all three points over Tavistock, who continue to prop up the table.
Both sides had chances to score in the first half. George Newton headed a chance wide for Tavistock, while Brixham’s Charlie Johansen raced through on goal, but was denied by a save from Jack Arthur.
The game’s opening goal came after 56 minutes when the Tavistock goalkeeper parried a Brixham free-kick into the path of Somers, who made no mistake in converting the opportunity.
