Bury and Avro shared the spoils in a tightly contested match between third and second in the table.
Match action
The hosts started brightly with Owen Robinson and Lewis Rawsthorn both going close early on before Rawsthorn got the opening goal for the Shakers after 21 minutes, rising unchallenged to meet Bebeto Gomes’ cross.
His header beat Avro keeper Cam Mason – who just couldn’t prevent the ball crossing the line – for his second goal in as many games.
