■ THE Nomads were back at Cropston Road yesterday to face Coventry Sphinx.
Anstey had the better of the chances in the first half but couldn’t quite break the deadlock.
The second started in very similar fashion to the first, Martyn Waghorn would get his debut goal from a corner as he headed home. An individual piece of brilliance from Jaiy Leydon would see the game level at 1-1.
It didn’t take long for the home side to get back in front from a Kyle Tomlin effort which slotted straight into the bottom corner.
