■ SILSDEN eased their relegation fears with a comfortable win over Ashington at the Regal Interiors Stadium, with Kayle Price bagging a brace.
Price struck first after 24 minutes to put the Cobbydalers in the driving seat, before Jake Cassidy doubled the lead four minutes later with a terrific 25-yard effort.
Luke Brooksbank then sent the majority of the 154 people in attendance wild with Silsden’s third after 36 minutes to all but secure a vital win by half-time.
