■ DUNSTON came into this match in excellent form, suffering just one defeat in their previous 13 league games, and they took an early lead as midfielder Rory Edwards curled home a free-kick from 22 yards after six minutes.
Consett were soon level, with Isacc Walker slotting home from just inside the box after 12 minutes, and they had the better of the first half.
