■ SILSDEN and Bishop Auckland fought out a goalless draw in a tight encounter as the mid-table hosts and their struggling visitors couldn’t be separated at Regal Interiors Stadium.
Newly re-signed goalkeeper Jack Norton made an immediate impact, producing an excellent early save to keep the hosts out after 13 minutes.
Chances were limited, though Bishops grew into the game, with Mikey Roberts coming closest when he diverted a low Liam Jarvie cross narrowly wide.
