A PULSATING encounter ended with honours even after Congleton twice fought back from a two-goal deficit.
New signing Taylor Dyson’s stunning free-kick gave Avro the lead after 15 minute, and they doubled their lead early in the second half when Darrhyl Mason poked home from close range.
Congleton sub Tom Hampton reduced the arrears soon afterwards, but once James Simms had restored Avro’s two-goal lead, they looked set to secure their first win since New Year’s Day.
