Porter edges Blues away from drop zone

LEEK TOWN made it back-to-back victories to continue their climb away from the lower reaches of the league and dent Gainsborough’s play-off hopes in the process.
Although it was a tight affair, the final result was correct as the hosts restricted their visitors to a solitary shot on target in the entire game while creating several chances themselves. It did, however, take a mistake by Trinity keeper David Roberts to give Leek the win.
