■ AVRO completed a league double over Clitheroe, following up October’s thrashing with a narrow away win.
The visitors almost took an early lead when Darrhyl Mason forced a good save from Oliver Bellizia at close range.
Clitheroe threatened in response as Josh Briggs found Jack Morris, but he was unable to finish from inside the six-yard box
The best chance of the game for the Blues fell in the second half when Harry Scarborogh was brough down in the area. However, Cameron Mason guessed correctly to deny Jake Carroll from the spot.
