CLITHEROE and Runcorn came into this fixture on the back of convincing wins last weekend, but it was the home side who took all three points on this occasion.
The Blues took the lead early on when Josh Briggs tucked home from just inside the area.
Runcorn hit back just before half-time after goalmouth scramble fell to Matthew Rain, who blasted it home from close range.
