CHASETOWN kept their faint hopes of making the play-offs alive as they won at home to Clitheroe.
Joey Butlin broke the deadlock midway through the first half when he latched onto a loose ball after Tyrell Skeen-Hamilton was floored, the ref played the advantage, which worked to perfection as Butlin slotted past Zac Hadi.
The other goal for the Scholars came with 20 left to go when Nathan Cameron scored to ensure the points stayed in Staffordshire.
