■ IOAN Evans’ second-half header was enough to seal the points for Belper Town.
Evans nodded in Liam Moran’s cross after 69 minutes to settle a closely-fought contest, as the hosts ended the game with ten men after Kane Richards picked up a late second booking. Belper started brightly with Louis Keenan heading wide from a corner but Boro also spurned two good chances.
Forward Leo Stone got in behind the Nailers’ defence and shot wide and Tyrell Waite was denied by Kieran Preston.
