■ NEWCASTLE crashed to a big defeat in a game dominated by play-off chasing Stalybridge.
The hosts conceded four goals in 13 first-half minutes – Ruben Jerome, Aaron Chalmers, Jack Irlam and Mike Koral did the damage for the visitors to make it 4-0 after just 35 minutes.
The rout was held off to an extent after the break but the visitors were still having the better of the game without being tested.
Stalybridge put the icing on the cake when Max Leonard turned in a left-wing cross with six minutes remaining.
