WITTON netted in each half to earn all three points at mid-table Clitheroe and keep their slim play-off hopes alive.
Clitheroe almost made the perfect start in the third minute but Harry Scarborough saw his first time effort flash past the post.
Witton, however, did open the scoring midway through the first half when a powerful Freddy Garbutt strike found its way into the bottom corner.
The visitors doubled their lead inside ten minutes of the second half as Ayodeji Sotona kept his cool and slotted it past Zac Hadi.
