■ MOSSLEY continued their impressive form with a win at Stafford.
The hosts settled into the game the better of the two sides and a series of corners threatened the Mossley goal.
There were few clear cut chances before the break, Madigan making the only save of note in a 45 minutes that could best be described as attritional.
The second half was a more lively affair, and it was the Lily-whites who scored the games only goal after 47 minutes.
