PITMEN DEALT BIG BLOW TO PROMOTION ASPIRATIONS

STOCKSBRIDGE Park Steels bagged a well-earned point against title-challenging Hednesford Town.
The Steels started off the brighter team but for a while neither team was able to create a clear-cut chance.
But Stocksbridge got the first chance and they took it.
Tommy Marshall won the ball high up and played it back to Marc Etherington.
His cross found Luke Rawson who was able to dip and head in a surprise opening goal.
