RUGBY Borough were the visitors on a sunny afternoon at Cropston Road. And the away side made a fast start, while the second-placed Nomads were slow out of the blocks.
From then, although it was an end-to-end game, there were limited shots from either side. The score remained level until player of the match Tristen Thomas gave the hosts the lead after 36 minutes, with a strike on goal which hit the bar on the way in.
