LEEK Town as good as secured their Northern Premier League status for another season with an entertaining win over Bamber Bridge.
Both sides kept the ball down in an open and enthralling game that saw Connor Heath put the hosts ahead with a free header from eight yards before Issac Abankwah equalised with a side-footed finishrom a low cross.
Hayden Campbells 30-yard curler for Leek was a foot wide and Alex Hurst was denied by the legs of Bridge keeper Aidan Dowding.
