BOOTLE boosted their play-off hopes by seeing off struggling Darlaston.
The visitors made a good start to the game, but never really tested Bootle goalkeeper Tony Thompson.
Bootle quickly warmed into the game as Ste Edmondson tested Darlaston keeper Tom Beeby.
Three minutes later, Edmondson made up for his missed effort as he received a through ball and buried his chance in the far corner to give Bootle the lead.
