LICHFIELD’S first season in
■ the Northern Premier League Midlands is coming to an end with a fantastic victory over AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
It was a deserved victory, although they had to come from behind as Ollie Evans gave the visitors the lead in the seventh minute with a neat finish.
Nine minutes after the break, Lichfield were awarded a penalty when the ball struck the hand of a retreating Diamonds defender. Callum Griffin stepped up and calmly slotted the penalty home.
