SHEPSHED’S play-off
■ hopes are still alive as they won late at Wellingborough to give themselves a slim chance of making them.
They made the worst possible start as the hosts took the lead after just two minutes through a 25-yard effort from Joseph Evans.
Declan Peart brought Shepshed level after 18 minutes with a smart finish after pinball in the box, but-Wellingborough were determined to end Shepshed’s dreams as Evans got a second after 39 minutes.
