■A PLAY-OFF spot was already guaranteed for Dunston, but this final-day defeat means the Fed will travel to Emley for their semi-final.
Dunston got off to a bright start when Jack Greenhough’s handball led to a Dunston penalty inside the opening ten minutes. David Robinson stepped up put his side ahead with a well-taken finish.
After 19 minutes, it was almost 2-0 as JJ O’Donnell’s long-range effort looped narrowly wide of the target.
