■ BEVERLEY Town’s second-half salvo saw them claim the three points over Stocksbridge Park Steels.
Stocksbridge could have had the lead in the first half. Josiah Dyer has two big chances, one he put wide from close after a good corner before he ended the half by forcing a good save from Leigh Overton.
However, Beverley saw the second-half tilt in their favour. A free-kick fell at the feet of Macaulay Snelgrove and his effort took two reflections before ending up in the back of the net.
