■BEN Atkinson’s 83rd-minute goal earned Liversedge a point after a draw with Ashington after an awarding of a controversial goal.
After a good 40 minutes that saw both teams play some good football with Liversedge having the most chances and going close on several occasions, Anthony Brown thought he had put Liversedge ahead before the break but was denied following a goal line clearance.
