Chorley Swoop For Talented Teenager

Former Preston North End striker Brandon Zibaka has joined Northern Premier League Premier Division club Chorley.

FORMER Preston North End striker Brandon Zibaka has joined Northern Premier League Premier Division club Chorley.

Zibaka, 18, worked his way through the Preston ranks before making his senior debut in a League Cup game back in 2011.

That appearance made him the club’s youngest ever player but he only went on to feature twice more for them before being released at the end of last season.

He has since been hoping to land a contract with another Football League club but, with no deals materialising, Zibaka has opted to drop into the Non-League game to show what he is capable of.

Zibaka will be available for the Magpies’ trip to ninth-place Worksop Town this weekend.
