CIRENCESTER secured a win against Winchester thanks to a solitary strike from Ben Whitehead in the second half.
Adam Tommasso had the first chance of the game early on, sending a snapshot wide before Alan Griffin went close for Ciren sending a powerful header which came crashing off to bar.
Whitehead then tested the goalkeeper and soon after the Citizens should have scored but for a fine save from Mateusz Wociezorek to deny Carr.
Whitehead poked wide midway through the second half before netting the winner ten minutes from time with a finish...
