RYAN Woodford’s headed goal deep into time added on bagged the points for Gosport.
But until the 84th minute, it seemed the points were destined to stay in Dorset.
Wimborne took the lead just before the mid-point of the first period. On the left, Sam Bayston found debutant Antonio Diaz who, with feet flying around him, cleverly kept the ball before beating keeper Pat O’Flaherty.
Borough’s Matthew Paterson then found himself with only home keeper Cameron Plain to beat, but his weak finish was easily saved.
