COLWELL’S CLASS HELPS TIVVY PAST VALIANT MET

TIVERTON Town bounced back from their FA Trophy exit to keep their league campaign on track with an excellent win over an impressive Metropolitan Police team.
Tiwy dictated the early exchanges and went close through Chris Shephard after good work from Jared Lewington. The Met .however, were playing some nice football and had a one-on-one with Tom Cursons on 14 minutes but Lewis Williams pulled off a great save.
River Allen then put a free-kick just wide before Tiwy grabbed the opening goal on 43 minutes.
