HITCHIN extended their unbeaten run to five with a convincing display against an initially out-of-sorts Barwell.
Hitchin dominated possession and swept into a deserved lead after 18 minutes when an inviting cross from Jack Green saw Jhai Dhillon score at the second attempt after his first effort came back off the bar.
The second goal came from a corner and was smartly converted by skipper Dan Webb after 36 minutes.
