AN EARLY goal from Casuals’ Rene Howe, combined with a superb first-half performance by debutant Myles Roberts, formed the basis for a narrow home win.
Roberts started how he continued, somehow keeping out a Shaquille Hippolyte-Patrick drive on two minutes. And the home side went up the other end to take the lead three minutes later when Howe got up well in a crowded box.
Salisbury responded with Alex Lafleur sending an eighth-minute free-kick narrowly over the top, but Roberts again saved his side keeping out a Toby Holmes close-range blast.
