YATE soaked up plenty of pressure and rode their luck at times in the second half as they hung on to pick up three vital points.
Harrow striker Dylan Kearney caused the home defence problems early on with several dangerous runs before he gave the visitors the lead after 25 minutes.
There was a suspicion of an offside as Marc Charles-Smith got free up the right flank but as the Yate back line hesitated, he squared the ball into the goalmouth where Kearney was free.
